Overview
This service provides quick and high quality PCB fabrication experience for worldwide hobbyists.
You will get 10 pcs, 1-layer or 2-layer PCB boards per service. If you need more than 10 boards, you may add an integral multiple quantity to shopping cart.
If your files and design meet our requirements, it will be processed and shipped within 4-6 business days (Excluding the Chinese Festival).
Requirements on the design and gerber files:
1.Dimension of the boards should not be larger than the Max value of this service.
There is no limitation on the shape or outline. It means that we do not require the board must be rectangle or circle. Whatever shapes they are, as long as they can be accommodated to the smallest rectangle as below pictures show, then it’s suitable for our pcb service. Take "5cm x 5cm Max" as an example:
2.Gerber files needed for 2-layer PCB boards:
- Top layer: pcbname.GTL
- Bottom layer: pcbname.GBL
- Solder Stop Mask top: pcbname.GTS
- Solder Stop Mask Bottom pcbname.GBS
- Silk Top: pcbname.GTO
- Silk Bottom pcbname.GBO
- NC Drill: pcbname.TXT
Gerber files needed for 1-layer PCB boards:
- Bottom/Top layer : pcbname.GBL/GTL
- Solder Stop Mask Bottom : pcbname.GBS/GTS
- Silk Bottom/Top : pcbname.GBO/GTO
- NC Drill: pcbname.TXT
Note:If soldermask layers are not required, please clarify surface finish for both sides when you submit your gerber files.
3.Outline or shape should be included in at least one layer.
4.Gerber files must be RS-274x format.

6.Clarification for panelizing
You can panelize but the design should meet our rules as followed:
(1) There should be no more than 5 sub-boards to fit the size
(2) The sub-boards should only be separated by silkscreen. Using holes or long slots to separate the sub-boards are not permitted.
*Note: You will have to cut the boards by yourself if you fabricate a panelized design.
How to make your design fabricated
1.Purchase the service you need and checkout. You will receive order confirmation mail which will inform you an unique order number:
2.Send gerber files to pcb@iteadstudio.com .Order number should be mentioned in e-mail subject .Gerber files for one design must be zipped into one file.
If you purchase different PCB prototyping service in one order, It’s recommended to clarify order number and the corresponding dimension ,color, thickness, surface finish and quantity by naming gerber files . If there are more than one designs for the same service ,please mark them with a sequence by using A to Z.
Your effort will be helpful to make orders processed smoothly and accurately.
About the option of “Open Source And Get 2 More Additional Boards”
It is a creative service to help hobbyists to share their interesting ideas and original designs. If you select "Yes", it means that you are willing to share your works, and you will get 10 pcs of your own design and 2 boards from other guys who made the same option and also willing to share their designs.

FAQ
1. What’s the lead time for the PCB prototyping service?
Normally we can ship the boards within 4-6 working days after we receive gerber file if there are no mistakes over the design. It will take around 10-20 working days via air mail or 3-5 wroking days via DHL or UPS for the whole transportation.
2. Why do my boards come with unknown numbers on the silkscreen layer?
It’s a serial number which can help us to distinguish your board with others.
3. Can you make the board without serial number? Or just place them in some specified place?
The serial number must be placed on board, and the position is random. Hope for your understanding.
4. Is it possible to order multiple PCB service in one order, with different design files?
Yes ,you can purchase any available products or service in one order.

I have received 4 board designs in two different shipments. This is an awesome service that really brings pcbs to the average hobbyist's home. I used the itead CAM and DRC files and never had a rejection. The smallest silk text I used was 0.032 @ 15% and was nearly perfect. Smallest package used was a TDFN-8.Quality Price Value
First order came in 3 weeks with regular shipping. I emailed after 2 weeks and got prompt reply regarding the shipping delay because of the holidays. Second shipment was received in 15 days. I plan on ordering at least on a monthly basis.

In my 25 years of experience I have seen a vast spectrum in quality of prototype and production boards alike. The PCBs that this manufacturer produces are of good quality. The copper etching is precise. The solder mask and silkscreen are accurate and well registered. I also tend to use small font sizes (down to 0.032") and they are still legible. Even more impressive is the fact that they will route the board to any shape as long as it fits within the specified confines -- no additional charge! This is definitely the best value I have found for a quality product. I have already spent $500 in the last 3 months and I am continually impressed.
